The Campaign
The film is a witty, loving ode to one of our most beloved everyday items of clothing; the skirt. Spoken words are juxtaposed with a varied montage that splices contemporary footage together with older material, stills and animation spanning the last century of skirt wearing.
Creative Execution
The editor worked closely with the creative team and the archive researcher and pieced together imagery from the history of skirts. The task was to create a rhythm that followed the spoken word of the piece and perfectly hit the beats of the writing to create a new layer of meaning to the words.
