Brief Explanation
Even though Pause can put together sound systems for every budget, they are still strongly associated with expensive hifi solutions.
The Brief
Pause is a high end hi-fi store that specializes in customized sound systems. Their promise: Customized sound systems for every wallet. We were asked to re-design their business cards into something more memorable.
How the final design was conceived
We took their promise literally and turned their business cards into the world's first business card speakers. They work as battery free, acoustic amplifiers for your smartphone and can always be kept in your wallet. To maximize the resonance, we used 330 g Plike paper that helps deliver a whooping +17 % boost in volume, compared to smartphone speakers.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Pause now has the business cards you not only keep, but actually use to share music with your friends. And as the staff keep sharing business cards as usual, they keep improving the sound of spontaneous get togethers everywhere.
