TRANSLATOR: Here in Hoekkerby we have a funny tradition. We call it the head-squeeze. It’s something we do with every guest coming to our village. You just take that person’s head with your fist and elbow, like this, add a little more pressure, then you turn it till it doesn’t go any further and you hear like a snap. Then you rub the guest’s face with fresh snow until it turns purple just a little bit and finally when he doesn’t move anymore, somebody slaps him flat on the head with a decent slapping sound. And everyone watching sings the Hoekkerby song.
LOCAL MAN: (SINGING) Hoe, Hoe, Hoe, Hoe, Hoe, Hoekkerby.

LOCAL MAN: (SINGING) Hoe, Hoe, Hoe, Hoe, Hoe, Hoekkerby.
