The Campaign
As Farris celebrated their 100 year anniversary they needed to state themselves as the original natural mineral water. With increasing competition from other brands
they had to tell their story in a different way, proving their point by showing, not telling, what the brand is about.
The idea was to make a new recording of their famous music score. Not in a studio, but in the Beech forest of Larvik. The same forest that lead water to Farris' natural sources. The hitch was that we were to play the melody by entirely using the wind, bottles and mineral water. Making us dependent of nature to capture each tone.
A glass artist was engaged to the project, and the physics of the task led us to produced a series of hand made bottles, made to capture wind the best way possible.
After several inspections and days og testing, the team of entered the woods in may 2015. They stayed for two weeks.
The campaign gave us something different to talk about in social media.
It drew attention to the brand again, and stated the role as Norway true natural mineral water.
The project is viewed by 700 000, out of a population on 5 million.
This project were based on a task that was completely out of our hands.
We wanted bottles to play our tones with the help of wind only - and relied on nature to get it done. As is the case of making Farris.
The documentation of the process were as interesting as the result itself, making branded content along the way.
