Brief Explanation

NOA Potions is a newly launched Swedish beverage containing natural ingredients that help re-duce stress as well as increase mental capacity. When the client came to us, the drink and brand was non-existing, but the idea was clear: To launch a premium natural relaxation drink targeted to all the stressful people of our time.

The Brief

The brief from the client was to create the whole brand and identity world for Noa. That included naming, bottle shape, brand – and visual identity. The goal was to go from idea to launched product within 9 month, something that we succeded together with the client.

How the final design was conceived

Our vision is to base all design on two key values: Noticed and Chosen. Because that is what it is all about – first get your company noticed and than chosen. ” Noticed" was about finding the uniqueness both in structural shape, materials and graphics and ” chosen" to find the right emotional values that connects to your heart. The process it self was first about doing a lot of marketing research for both the category and target group. After that phase of analysis we did 5 different conceptual routes/world. One was chosen as the winner, and than the design development phase started with focus to both find the ideal design idea and thereafter materials and executions that met our standards.

Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

The final outcome became a bottle we felt scored high on the set brand values. The product type is indicated on the bottleneck in illustrations that are reminiscent of historical, botanical drawings. This design communicates the centuries-old knowledge of the plants’ healing powers, which has been incorporated in the beverages’ recipes. The text-heavy label in lexicographic style and the silhouette of the container, which is reminiscent of an apothecary bottle, emphasise this approach based on scientific knowledge.
