Brief Explanation

Frank Balgar had had enough of all the fuss and hoity-toity language surrounding the enjoyment of wine. His motto: Quality tastes good. Following this approach, he opened an online store and vinotheque (tasting room and shop) to make rare, fine wines from around the world accessible to ordinary people without any frills. The aim was to communicate this with maximum effect and cost-efficiency. Official glass recycling containers can be found in every Swiss community. What better place for rebellious guerilla campaign stickers? These advertised weinrebellen as a new source of supply, both online and offline.

Creative Execution

The campaign did run according to the original plan. The web site weinrebellen.ch was soon up and running at full speed despite a small budget and virtually no advertising wastage. After just two months, a customer base had been established with more than 150 regular buyers. Some months down the line, business is now booming. Sales are so high that the company, initially planned as a second source of income for Frank Balgar, already employs two extra staff.
