The Campaign

Fashion Revolution is fighting for the rights of those working in sweatshops. So we created a film documenting human compassion. We set up a vending machine, filled with cheap T-shirts, in a busy shopping area to see if people would still buy the T-shirt if they were confronted with the conditions under which it was produced. Instead of the T-shirt being dispensed, they watched a video and were given the option to either buy or donate the money. The result was heart warming and uplifting, restoring faith in humanity, as 90% of people decided to donate their money instead.
