The Campaign
The spot is a series of vignettes. In each scene we meet the New Avensis and its owner in different situation and roles - once it’s a travel from workplace, then it's a weekend trip outside the city and finally an evening cruise from the theatre.
The narrator of the script is the Car. It says, that it can't predict if the economy goes up or down and how long the owner's daughter's vegetarian phase will last. But there is one thing it knows - what's ahead.
In this moment we see, that the thing the car knew it was ahead was a truck driving into the road dangerously. And because The New Avensis new it was coming, it stopped itself avoiding the accident.
