The Campaign
A 35 second video developed to introduce the Dream Island and illustrate the need to bring
abandoned dreams back to life. The campaign invited consumers around the world to share their
unrealized dreams for a chance to win a vacation in a dream location: Dream Island. After hearing
from thousands of consumers – with abandoned dreams of opening a bar in a wonderful location,
traveling around the world, becoming a famous chef or diving instructor among the most popular –
six lucky winners were selected for a week-long holiday on 'Dream Island' in February.
The film begins in a smoky bar-setting, with snow falling outside. Inside, friends enjoy their evening
as they laugh and chat, their neglected dreams represented through various different costumes -
including a female astronaut, an award-winning actor and a placid surfer. As the film draws to a
close, the surfer - dressed in a wetsuit - leaves the bar. With his first step outside into the cold,
snowy night, his costume changes from the wetsuit to a thick winter coat and hat, looking up at the
sky before his onward journey begins.
