The Campaign
Our graphics team produces engaging and informative 3D animated videos. In essence, these videos illustrate how drugs work within the body, and aim to inform patients and the general public about specific diseases and/or drugs under investigation. Increased engagement means that patients can make more informed-decisions with regards to their healthcare options. We collaborated with Genable, a gene therapy company, to create a 3D visualization of Genable's lead product. The product, RhoNova™, is an innovative and unique therapeutic approach for the treatment of patients with rhodopsin-linked, autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa, a debilitating, progressive form of inherited blindness resulting from a diverse array of mutations in the RHO gene. Because it treats a rare disease, RhoNova™ received orphan drug designation in both the EU and U.S. We created a video that provides background information on Genable, the condition and therapy development, and explains the mode of action of RhoNova™. The video was initially created by us for presentation at the Retina 2014 Conference in Dublin, Ireland. Genable was so impressed with the knowledge and creative expertise demonstrated by the 3D animation the company decided to host the video on its own home page [http://www.genable.net/].
