Creative Execution
We created a combined web service and app-solution called The Wish Cloud.
You can put all wishes in one digital wish list that they can bring anywhere, and use anytime. It's available as a an app and as a website for your desktop or laptop.
We also added a single click "wish button" in your browser or mobile.
Also, if you find something in the real world, just take a picture of it and save it along with the other wishes.
Finally, you can share your wishes. And guests can reserve the wishes, so you only get one of each!
The App reached the #1 spot on AppStore as the most popular free service within the first week of its launch.
Already before Christmas season 2% of the adult population (18-65) in Denmark is using the service.
And each of these users have made average of approximately 4 wishes in The Wish Cloud.
That's a lot of gifts. And a lot of parcels to deliver.
In the online reality of today people communicate more and more via txt-messaging, e-mails or social media. The amount of letters sent by post is in decline. But the amount of parcels sent by post is increasing thanks to a growing e-commerce business. Danes love to buy gifts on the Internet.
The main objective is to grow the whole e-commerce business market in Denmark.
An important thing is that The Wish Cloud does NOT force the users to send their parcels with Post Danmark. In other words, the service is rather neutral, though it does carry the brand of Post Danmark. A bonus objective is therefore to create a better image for Post Danmark.
