Creative Execution
We created an interactive detective story using 360-degree cameras and put the users in the role of the best detective in town. The users had to solve optical puzzles against the criminals who use anamorphic illusions to get away with their crimes. Using our interface, the users were able to warp, dewarp, zoom-in and out, all in our special 360-degrees interactive video.
The campaign created a real buzz and conversations among brand’s peers, raising the awareness in areas where it was unknown before. There were articles written specifically about the campaign in very established security press and received great comments on all social media platforms. The brand reached a high number of the general public, resulted as a follower increases by 266% on twitter and 1153% on facebook. We also had a high, very targeted reach (~100k) within well-known security portals. This reflected as a targeted traffic increase to the website by 48%. Oncam has been included in 6 project tenders globally.
Oncam produces state of the art 360-degree security cameras with unique features such as live image dewarping and live time scanning. Our challenge was to excite people about an inherently boring product and turn Oncam GrandEye into a well-known brand, while showing all the unique features of Oncam.
