Creative Execution

With Café Capital, Deutsche Bank smashes the elitist conception of the financial world to smithereens and turns it into something that all can access. Isn’t it less impressive to look at the way markets work when their simplest explanation is just a beer tap and some drawings on a coaster away? The website was launched via the bank's website and a local PR launch, combined with targeted information.

The mechanism of Cafe Capital really works. Visitors of the Café Capital come back, vote on questions they like and click on extra content. The ‘soft launch’ of this initiative is very promising, and once more confirms the positions of Deutsche Bank as trusted experts, helping clients to build their capital, based on their dreams and objectives.

Belgians hold their savings dear, but these don’t yield much return anymore. INVESTING has become the best chance for your money to flourish. But the word still inspires negative thoughts and ignorance in a lot of minds, as recent surveys confirm. In simple words you learn how markets work, what’s the economic news, and what financial products do. At the bar Georges popularises these subjects with baffling ease. Like we all would while explaining something to friends in a pub, Georges illustrates ideas on the back of a beer coaster. Café Capital’s online visitors can ask financial questions and/or vote for the questions they find interesting. The most relevant questions are given an answer in the form of a video featuring coaster doodling animation, like in casual pub conversations. Georges explains things quite simply, and in no time the mysterious mechanisms of markets and economy become crystal clear.
