Creative Execution

The heart of the initiative is a website that combines Google services: Search, Translate and Trends, in a new way. After user enters the product, input is translated into more than 80 languages and compared with corresponding search queries across the globe. The entrepreneur immediately has an overview of countries by ranking, product demand, competitors, Internet usage and online advertising costs. Partners of the initiative help the entrepreneurs with translations of their website, tax, customs and logistics issues. Users can also acquire further export expertise through a wide variety of video tutorials by experts, covering theory and practice.

To date there have been more than 600,000 media impressions, more than 700,000 potential checks and over 13,000 entrepreneurs took part in training courses und events.

More and more B2B buyers worldwide are searching for products on the Internet. However, small and medium-sized German businesses still hesitate to use Market 2.0 due to lack of time, expertise or budget for export activities. As a result, they fall behind the international competition. What if using Big Data could help them find out, in a simple way, in which countries people are looking for their products – and how they can export and advertise there? The “Weltweit Wachsen” (Go Global) initiative offers entrepreneurs support in discovering and developing new export markets online.
