Creative Execution
We developed a mobile website with fun side-designs to add to your vertical videos.
Visitors can upload their vertical video, choose one of the side-designs in the gallery, and then
share their converted beautiful horizontal videos via email and social media.
The website was sent to digital, tech and marketing blogs, the idea did the rest.
OOPSISHOTVERTIVAL.COM was selected as FWA's Mobile site of the day and widely featured in
the digital and creative media. OOPSISHOTVERTICAL.COM was clearly welcomed by the digital
community as a funny 'saviour' that was going to eradicate the shameful vertical video.
Happiness Brussels, a digitally adapted agency, wanted to show 'deep' understanding of online and
mobile behaviour. People tend to forget to turn off their smartphones when filming, creating lost spaces
on the sides of the videos when uploading. We wanted to claim this ugly free space with a fun tool
for everyone that allows adding side-designs to vertical videos.
