KLARA : Tomorrowland Classic, with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike

Good evening and welcome to Tomorrowland Classic, the link between classical music and dance. Tonight we will discover this with Dimitri Di Vaios, also known as Dimitri Vegas. This Sunday, he and his brother Like Mike will tear the roof off at Tomorrowland.

He explains us how he got the idea to work with Steve Aoki on a complete makeover of "Hungarian Dance" by Johannes Brahms.

MUSIC: DANCE MUSIC

DIMITRI VEGAS : In classical music, there are many cool and catchy tunes. I think many artists have been inspired by classical music. Personally, I really liked that song so we started to work on it.

I know there are people who claim that you should keep your hands off a classical rock song, or hip-hop or dance. We think it's fun to bring back things from the past in our DJ sets. To give our audience a taste of different things. In a way, it's about educating them a little bit. So we really like to remix this music. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

KLARA : Tomorrowland Classic, with Dave Clarke

Today our guide is Dave Clarke, the baron of techno music, as John Peel once said. He made a huge impact in the music scene with his debut album 'Archive One' in 1996. Classical music has always been an inspiration, since the beginning.

DAVE CLARKE: I've certainly been inspired by classical music from a very very young age. I would say the obvious one would be 'Rapsody in Red' of Archive one. Which basically, I was known as the guy who did the Red Series and I was always a bit of a fan of Rob Gershwin of Rhapsody in Blue. So I thought this was kind of funny to do. So I called it 'Rapsody in Red'. It was limited by my own musicality but it was definitely inspired by classical music.
