The Campaign
We designed a laterally reversed billboard that was positioned after having passed the exit to a McDonald’s restaurant. The message was unclear when seeing it straight ahead, but made total sense when seeing it in the rear view mirror. The message? It’s never too late to turn around. Next U-turn 100 meters.
Creative Execution
We designed a billboard, flipped it around and then published it.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Campaign is ongoing, so no knows results as of yet.
The billboard has a clear call to action, and is designed to speak to every passerby but in a personal manner.
In Sweden, McDonald’s is a well-known roadside restaurant. We wanted to reach the drivers and families that might have realized too late that it was time for a snack, coffee or yummy burger.
