The Campaign

Jonah Hill is visiting London and his favourite skateboarding store and checking out a new range of trainers they sell in an ironic take on a cheesy celebrity commercial

Creative Execution

Teasers were released on social media the weekend before the new trainer launch, then on the monday the full film was released on line on Vimeo and sent to key skating and cultural voices.

Within 2 days the film had been passed around globably, appearing on over 1,000 websites, and gaining a mass of interest from a variety of sectors: from current affairs, to skateboarding, to fashion to arts, to culture to comedy to trainer obsessives to news sites. Press '..the funniest fashion ad of the year' GQ '...cleverly creating one of the most effective and sincere performances you could hope to see.'' The Guardian 'This may well be MPC Creative's finest hour. You have to be super good to look this bad.' David Reviews 'You go Jonah. This is your best work since that Oscar nom for wall street' The Inertia 'Jonah Hill's Brilliantly Awkward Sneaker Ad Might Be His Best Act Yet' Ad Week 'The best worst film we’ve seen in some time' Little Black Book

Instantly passed around by people around the globe;with no media spend it was simply passed due to it's entertainment value. Hype started when teasers appeared online and within days everyone was talking about the film and generating repeated views. It's well written, hilarious piece of situational comedy using a great comedic actor. '..funniest fashion ad of the year' GQ 'Jonah Hill's Brilliantly Awkward Sneaker Ad Might Be His Best Act Yet' Ad Week 'You go Jonah. This is your best work since that Oscar nom for Wall Street' The Inertia 'The best worst film we've seen in sometime' Little Blackbook

Make people laugh in the brand way: subverting the usual rules and not taking itself too seriously and promote the London store and new trainer.
