The Campaign
Create a situation where the viewer experiences what it’s like to be inside one of the migrants boats.
Creative Execution
This campaign played out across all BBC Channels, in the build up to the programme’s TX.
The campaign succeeded in ensuring a reach over 1.45 million viewers.
This was to promote a new documentary about migrant’s journeys from Syria to the UK.
We devoted the entire spot to a single scene of Syrian migrants, in a dinghy, trying to make it across the Mediterranean sea. It’s an image we’ve grown used to seeing in newspapers, but in this campaign people to experienced a truly heart stopping moment.
