Brief Explanation
In the middle of the sea, a mermaid is bored, alone in a sunken ship. One day, a noise at the surface awakens her. She grabs a telescope and sees a sailor has fallen into the water.
She dreams of spending the rest of her life with him, of romantic moments together, of having children… until the moment where he asks her to marry him, brings her back to reality.
The mermaid returns to the surface as quickly as she can. When she finally gets close to her sailor, she grabs his hand to take him to live with her, but something seems to be holding him back. She pulls a little stronger, but nothing happens, the sailor remains fixed to the surface.
Desperate, she returns back deeply into the sea.
The sailor pokes his head out of the water, saved by his lifejacket and returns to his ship safely.

The client had a total budget amount of 80k euros to produce the entire film.
Making a 90 second film within this budget was very ambitious. Touched by the cause, the production teams accepted to work for less.
The execution is a 90 second 3D animated film. It is the outcome of 9 months of work from various teams (designers, 3D animators,…).
It took the entire team (creatives, productions) a lot of tenacity and persistence to achieve this movie.
