Brief Explanation

We see a wide variety of women, who all contribute to redefining what a lady is today, go about their business. They go to board meetings, pick their teeth in a restaurant, kiss each other, hang out on their own: in other words, they exist as human beings and are all equally ladylike in their own right.

Since we wanted a modern, global and diverse take on what it can mean to be a woman – or lady – today, we needed to find interesting women that would reflect that, and who are known for doing things their own way. We also wanted to women with their own audiences and platforms, women who would resonate within the fashion world, and with people interested in fashion.
