Brief Explanation
2 vital seconds in 17 frames, giving courage to those who need it most.
The Belgian Foundation against Cancer had the consent to capture the exact moment on which patients received the news whether they were or weren’t cancer-free.
A moment that took a few seconds. And a few seconds that turned into 17 striking images. Those 17 images became 1 permanent collection at the Oncology ward of the biggest Belgian hospitals. 17 frames taking you through a rollercoaster of emotions in just a few seconds, from tension to relief and happiness. Making sure the insecure walk of patients towards their appointement becomes less severe, and gives hope with every image that follows.
