Within seconds of receiving a user’s emojis combination, one of 16 AccorHotels community managers proposed perfect & personalised destinations. It took place in January 2016, during 5 days, in 7 countries (Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom).
In 5 days and 7 countries:
• 2.700 personalized suggestions to more than 1.600 different hotels.
• 24.000.000 individuals reached on social
• X3 more engagement on #EmojiSearch posts than on an average post
• 218.000 likes on #EmojiSearch posts
• X 10 more fans recruited during the activation, compared to an average week
#EmojiSearch took place during the month of January, when people are thinking about their year ahead. A month where people begin their search for their next summer holiday. It was a mobile and social media only activation, based on what is already in everyone’s mobile and every social posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram: emojis.
