The Campaign
We came up with a custom-made interactive video player idea. The first thing viewers saw was a washing machine with no buttons. As they turned up the volume of the video with the volume bar, the buttons of the machine started to appear one by one.
Creative Execution
The first thing viewers saw was a washing machine with no buttons. As they turned up the volume of the video with the volume bar, the buttons of the machine started to appear one by one.
Thanks to our campaign, millions of people understood the problem and 70.000 signatures were gathered in a very short time.
Above all, one of Turkey’s largest white goods companies, Arçelik, announced that they would begin manufacturing a wide-ranging number of products featuring voice guidance and Braille controls.
Tens of thousands of signatures gave voice to those who cannot see.
To increase the impact, people not only needed to be aware of the problem – they needed to understand it. This interactive video could make people experience the problem faced by the visually impaired every single day, at least for just a few seconds and gather signatures with the link of the petition on change.org at the end of the video.
