Brief Explanation
Blistex is a lip balm that protects your lips from drying out and becoming sore. This is especially important during the winter season. But many consumers aren’t aware of the various other threats for their lips. Beards, for example. The modern German concept of male beauty is all about manliness. This usually includes a beard. Although symbolizing sexiness, beards can also be dangerous for the lips kissing them. We wanted to stress this at the point of interest with a small budget and big impact.
We transformed our idea into a spectacular framed poster with more than 1500 real nails sticking out of it and casting a spectacular shadow. Like a piece of art, we hung it in a pharmacy’s shop-window. Underneath, we displayed the real product range that could be purchased just inside the shop. Our self-explaining message: “Protect your lips”.
