The Campaign
To take the E-PACE photography to the next level and inject a real sense of fun, we proposed supplementing the main suite of photo assets with a selection of CGI images from celebrated automotive surrealist Chris Labrooy. Chris has received praise and coverage from leading media outlets such as CNN and Design Boom, alongside working for brands such as Nike, TFL and British Airways.
Creative Execution
Our idea was to juxtapose the Jaguar E-PACE within surreal CGI landscapes to challenge perceptions of boredom and monotony. These landscapes are situations that drivers all over the world encounter every day: flyovers, junctions, roads and the wider urban sprawl.
The car itself also injects a playful twist. Sometimes there are three cars in the image; other times there's just one on its own. The cars twist, warp and make surreal sculptural shapes. The resulting visual metaphors highlight the car’s youthful character, as it injects fun into even the most mundane urban playgrounds.
