The Campaign

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION DAY IS THE MOST MEMORABLE EVENT FOR RUSSIAN PUPILS. BUT THERE IS ONE THING THAT SPOILS EVERY STUDENT’S LOOK – THE TRADITIONAL OLD-SCHOOL RIBBON WITH AN INSCRIPTION “GRADUATE 2017” THAT MAKES EVERYONE LOOK THE SAME. THEREFORE, WE CREATED THE IDEA «YOU’RE NOT YOU WHEN YOU BLEND IN». SNICKERS GAVE GRADUATES THE CHANCE TO AVOID JUST BLENDING IN – AND TURNED THEIR BORING RIBBONS INTO SOMETHING PERSONAL.

Creative Execution

WE DEVELOPED AND MASSIVELY DISTRIBUTED UNIQUE, EYE-CATCHING RIBBONS, WHICH GRADUATES COULD CHOOSE ACCORDING THE THEIR PERCEPTION OF THEMSELVES. THEREFORE, WE CREATED A DESIGN FOR 18 RIBBONS BASED ON MULTIPLE INTERNET MEMES AND TRENDY SLANG. WITH THE HELP OF A BTL-AGENCY, WE ORGANIZED A PROMO IN VK.COM, RUSSIA’S BIGGEST SOCIAL NETWORK. MECHANICS FOR GETTING A RIBBON ONLINE: • SHARE THE POST WITH THE RIBBON YOU LIKE • PUT THE #SNICKERSGRADUATION2017 HASH TAG • GET A CHANCE TO RECEIVE A SNICKERS GRADUATE RIBBON GRADUATES ALSO HAD A CHANCE TO GET IT OFFLINE BY VISITING THE BIGGEST PARKS IN MOSCOW & ST. PETERSBURG DURING THE GRADUATION NIGHT.

Dreamy and slightly surreal, Ice Skaters for Ikea from CZAR Brussels

Ice Skaters shows the dreamy and slightly surreal spectacle of a middle aged couple spinning and gliding on the polished wood floors of an elegant, high-ceilinged apartment in their socks. With the tagline 'Bring life into your living room' it is a beautifully crafted advert creating a warm, nostalgic mood for the brand, Ikea. It won Bronze at Eurobest in 2018 for production company CZAR Brussels. Director, Joe Vanhoutteghem and producer, Lander Engels talk to Eurobest about the experience of creating the work.

The gin, the city, the song and the search for the special colour of Seville

PS21 Madrid, the creative transformation company set up by founder of creative agency dommo Agustín Vivancos, was in its first year when the team began work on Searching for the Special Colour of Seville. It was a piece of work that would not only go on to win the agency’s first major award, Bronze in Creative Data at Eurobest in 2018, but would also become part of Seville’s cultural heritage.
