Write a short summary of what happens in the film

We see three people with disabilities on their way to work. The everyday job is harder for them but that doesn’t mean that they are any less good at it. In the end you see how they have ordinary jobs and we ask employers to make room and start hiring. In the end of the film we turn the camera around and show how we employed in our production for people with disabilities. We also made a behind the scenes film to show how everything was done. gorplats.se is Swedish for makeroom.se

Cultural/Context information for the jury

The knowledge, interest and attitudes of employers towards people with disabilities have been basically unchanged in Sweden over the past 10-20 years and proved difficult to change. There is generally a great skepticism and ignorance among employers, both in terms of attitude and willingness to employ. In addition, the image of this group conveyed in various contexts (media, the Internet, etc.) is stereotype and homogeneous. This has promptly reinforced the existing negative attitudes.
