Write a short summary of what happens in the film

It’s Christmas Eve. Two total strangers get stuck in one of IKEA’s lifts after a Christmas shopping frenzy. Their phones don’t get any signal, the alarm button doesn’t work and neither do the lights. When they realize they’re trapped (and also in the dark), they decide to take matters into their own hands. A few fairy lights, an assembled armchair, a fluffy gnome, a “boxy” chimney and voila: what could have been a disaster turns into a cosy little occasion to celebrate the festive season in a truly unique way.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

Celebrating Christmas at home with family and friends is a sacred Italian tradition. 9 out of 10 Italians spend their holly jolly holidays at home and the reason behind that decision is that they wouldn’t miss their home’s unique christmas atmosphere for anything in the world. But every moment can become the right occasion to celebrate Christmas, even if you’re a thousand miles away from home or just inconveniently stuck in a lift.
