Cultural/Context information for the jury

The e-mobility race was tough this year. While Mr. Musk repeatedly criticized traditional car-makers for their old-fashioned ways, brands invested fortunes to make the public believe that they were ahead of competition. In reality, products don’t always match expectations. The situation at Hyundai is different. With the arrival of the KONA electric, the world’s first electric compact-SUV, Hyundai had an entire range of EV models ready for purchase. We decided to send a brief message to the industry. So short, that it consisted of just 3 words: “Your turn, Elon.” The billboard clearly highlighted the fact that some companies are bringing real solutions to the market, while others are just talking about them. The outdoor ad was placed at the exit of the Geneva Airport, visible to visitors arriving to visit the prestigious motor show.
