Write a short summary of what happens in the ambient or digital execution or campaign.

Plastic pollution is one of the biggest environmental problems in the world today. We all know plastic doesn't belong in nature, yet we find it everywhere. To make a better future we need to educate the next generation. But we wanted to find just the right place to display the problem. Over 100.000 children visit the Natural History Museum in Oslo each year to see the harmonious interaction of animals and Norwegian nature. The dioramas have not been touched since 1970 so we decided to update the exhibition. With help from The Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature, we picked real plastic litter and trashed the exhibition. This way we could show the children the impact plastic has on nature and wildlife and making it impossible to ignore the problem. We also gave them an activity booklet to take home.

Cultural/Context information for the jury

Norway is a small country with only 5 million people. We are very proud of our mountains, fjords and nature over all. There is only one Natural history museum located in Oslo. Over 100.000 children visit the Natural History Museum in Oslo each year to see the harmonious interaction of animals and Norwegian nature.
