Write a short summary of what happens in the radio advert

The host of a dress-up party does not allow one of his friends to get back behind the wheel because he had quite a few drinks. It would spoil the evening if he hit the road and crashed. The host is dressed up as a pirate. He is completely into his character and talks and acts like a pirate. He uses pirate expressions and rolls his R’s. At the middle of the spot, when his friend who’s about to leave does not get why the host of the party acts like that, the host snaps back to reality and talks normally to convince his friend to stay over the night.

Script

(Jingle) Tips and tricks of a piraaaaate. He’s not a real pirate but he has some real advice. (SFX) We hear some techno music muffled in the background. It allows the audience to understand that the story is set at a party. (Friend) - [With a normal voice] Your dress-up party was sooo cool dude. And your pirate costume, is top notch! Anyways, I’m gonna finish up this drink and I’m gone. (Pirate) - [Voice of a pirate rolling his “R’s”] Hold on mate! You’re going to spoil my evening. (Friend) What?! (Pirate) A good pirate always leaves his ship docked if he a had more than a wee bit of rum and had a few tokes of his magic pipe that makes him see sirens. (Friend) Wait..What?! (Pirate) Why don’t you enjoy a good night of sleep at the port inn. You’ll sail back at dawn. (Friend) What are you saying…? (Pirate) I was just saying… [Clears throat and gets his normal voice back] Ahem! I was just saying you can sleep here. It’s safer. You’re in no condition to drive. (V.O.) Make sure that the party ends well. A friend that is in no condition to drive should not be allowed to get back behind the wheel. (Pirate) - [Voice of a pirate rolling his “R’s”] By order of your captain. (Jingle) All together for a shared road. This was a public service announcement brought to you by the AWSR, Road Safety Foundation of Wallonia.
