Background

Fedora creafted Petillant Naturele, solely with natural fermentation, giving it a distinctive opaque texture. Best consumed when completely clear can be quite a wait, so we wanted to rewrite this obstacle into a (love)story.

Describe the creative idea (40% of vote)

It takes some time for natural wine to clear up and get ready for consumption. Fedora’s Pet Nat label makes the waiting worth your while, because once you can see trough the bottle, it reveals its story. A motif of a sailor with a hole instead of his eye invites you to take a peek and see the love of his life on the other side. If you can see a mermaid, the wine is ready to be enjoyed. In other case, a day or two of waiting are still ahead.

Describe the execution (40% of vote)

Bottle design was the main element, incorporating illustrations with double-sided print. The bottle became a focal point at wine fairs, social media and other events, encouraging the everyone to interact with the bottle and then enjoying its content.

List the results (20% of vote)

Fedora’s Pet Nat was sold out within first months and encouraged the client to not only keep on producing it the next year but also crafting a new one with different grape types.
