Write a short summary of what happens in the film

The film is a parody of a flight instructions demonstration. It starts with a Burger King logo with wings flying in the sky. A voice over then starts. This is the captain speaking in a very approximate english and with a strong french accent. The voice over is incarnated by Fred Testot, a famous french comedian. The voice over is presenting all the safety measures that are applied in Burger King's restaurants such as wearing masks and gloves, provision of hydroalcoholic gel, safety distances, contactless payment, disinfection of the rooms, … To illustrate everything the voice is saying an employee is doing some actions in a Burger King restaurant. She shows in a really silly way what is right to do and what is not. On the last scene of the film, the famous comedian we used for the voice over (Fred Testot) appears to salute the audience.

Cultural / Context information for the jury

2 important points of context here: 1. This film was the first ad that Burger King did when they reopened their restaurants after 2 months of lockdown. The challenge was then to reassure people with all the safety measures we apply ourselves so they could come back and to do it in a surprising / funny way so we can get their attention (everyone's indeed sick of seeing and heering these safety instructions everywhere). 2. The voice over and comedian we used is a really famous humorist in France. He got a part of his fame few years ago (in 2005) in a really glorious TV show (called "SAV des émissions") where he played the role of an airline pilot having a very approximate english when he speaks. A role that became iconic in France and that resonnated as a real homage with this advert.
