Please tell us how the brand purpose inspired the work

Every 40 seconds, someone in the world takes their own life. Two-thirds of them are men. Men can often feel uncomfortable discussing their mental health. Movember, a leading global men’s health charity, recent research reveals that one in three men feels more lonely than before COVID-19. While 84% of men find it helpful when asked if they’re having a difficult time, nearly half say no one has checked to find out how they are coping. This shows that men are hungry for connection in these turbulent times. A meaningful conversation can make all the difference. To highlight the importance of staying socially connected, people were encouraged to check in on loved ones and use an online tool that offers practical guidance on how to support people who are struggling. To prompt a national conversation, leading Irish figures spoke about their own experiences and created art with mental health messages.
