Background
Nexer, formerly Sigma IT, helps companies to excel in their digital transformation. Recently, they were looking to reposition themselves, embracing a more holistic approach within strategy, tech and communication, becoming a top-of-mind expert within digital and technological innovation. We were brought in to create a new name and identity to meet their new positioning. And to separate Sigma IT from other brands in the Sigma group. All within a budget of 170.000 USD.
Describe the creative idea (40% of vote)
We gave Sigma IT a positioning worthy of a thought leader ready to help their customers anticipate the future. We needed to balance cool professionalism with a warm, humanistic approach. And inject pride and belief in the future, not least from a recruitment standpoint. To emphasize the message of future and forward motion, we developed the name Nexer, reinforced by giving the wordmark a fast-forward symbol.
Describe the execution (40% of vote)
To further strengthen the new positioning, we choose a typeface with personality and strong brand character. We developed a bespoke typeface for numbers and unique 3D imagery, visualizing Nexer’s laser focus on progress and results. All were featured on a new website and app, in a national campaign, a launch film and much more.
List the results (20% of vote)
The work has been very well-received. Our rebrand helped Sigma IT strengthen them as the top-of-mind expert within digital and technological innovation. Positioned between tech and warmth. An important balancing act for Nexer, looking to become the partner companies and organizations can count on to change how they operate in the digital world. Today, and for many years to come.
