Write a short summary of what happens in the film

Here the viewer is placed in the shoes of the athlete throughout many different Olympic sports. The spectator has become the competitor keeping the same view point throughout. It shows a multitude of sports such as running, jumping, boxing, cycling, winning medals etc all from the athletes perspective. Eventually the viewer is booted back to a normal viewpoint again back on the sofa watching the games on TV.

Tell the jury about the elements of sound design.

No shoot audio was captured for this film. Everything you hear was created, recorded, manipulated or layered for this job. We spend time at the skate park shooting audio wilds for the half pipe and bmx scenes as well as the running track to help create the most authentic footsteps. We heighten the intensity of each sport with sound design and mix techniques, introducing a few stylistic moments to help drive the narrative. To help the POV structure of the film, we added a small reverb to the breaths of each athlete, giving them a slightly wider stereo field for the viewer. Working closely with the director, decisions where taken on when the crowd should lead the scene or when the athlete should and also when they should share it equally.
