Write a short summary of what happens in the film

The films opens on an Tropical island called YARA, where a rooster is living his life. He’s suddenly captured and thrown in a cock fighting arena. But because Chicharron is not anykind of rooster, he rebels himself and attacks the commander who is betting on his death. This turn of events triggers a chase and a chain reaction across the city, opening on its path the civilians’ eyes oppressed by the regime. So as the chase escalates, the rebellion starts to rise and Dani, the heroin, assembles all of her guerilleros and meets in front of the dictactorial palace. The tension is at it’s stake, Anton Castillo, embodied by Giancarlo Esposito defies Dani before she launches the assault with Chicharrón in first line.

Tell the jury anything relevant about the cinematography.

As it’s a CGI render, we needed to create a really strong cinematography, close to what we could have with a natural light. The script is a chase all around the city of Esperanza, so we had to feel the story starts and finish at different time of the day. On the beach, we created the feeling of a morning rising light and then we made an evolution until the final scene where the burning sky of the sunset gives a redish ambiance to the revolution. The landscape is a well balanced mixture of reality and gaming assets. The textures, the buildings, the apartment, the garage etc… where scouted for real whereas the castle, the cinema, the cars and the weapons where actual assets available in the game.
