Cultural / Context information for the jury
People with disabilities are people just like you and me.They do everything that people without disabilities do, but they are rarely visible in our society. With the campaign „#AsYouAndMe“ we wanted to bring the society closer to the life of people with disabilities. We raised awareness with a popular photo idea that had already spread on social media. The detailed recreation of childhood photos.
The photos were recreated as faithfully as possible to the original locations. And they showed us in a moving way that they do not let themselves be handicapped throughout their lives. Besides posters, the campaign was also present on social media. Countless people with disabilities followed the campaign and recreated pictures from their childhood. People shared the campaign on social media. Within two weeks, we generated over 3 Mio views in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

The photos were recreated as faithfully as possible to the original locations. If we could not find the original location, we recreated it. The campaigns consists of 8 different pictures in total.
