The series of films forms a poetic and minimalistic ode the places we love. Small moments, slices of life, all ending with an aphorism about the value of being “here”.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
In the very particular context of the first lockdown exit in France, Volkswagen launched this campaign along with a dedicated offer to celebrate our new-found freedom and the return of the simple joys of life.

In order to adapt to the lockdown situation, the films were all produced in-house. There was a very clear direction for each scene : still shots of outdoor places with minimalistic slices of life, all at once insignificant, poetic and happy.
