Cultural / Context information for the jury
Volkswagen Services wanted to promote their maintenance plans at 99€. A way to face a thougher and tougher competition.
Their main target was Volkswagen car owners; their secondary target was all other car owners.
Volkswagen Services is not Volkswagen. They have little means in terms of production. Usually, they only use stock images. Anyway, the campaign had to respect Volkswagen advertising standards. So we focused on movies, a funny way to evoke the results of a bad maintenance.
