The Campaign

Branded entertainment has to be made identifiable on German television as advertisement. However, our experiment gave participants a branded live experience, so these regulations did not apply.

Results

Challenge: Motivate out-of-shape guys to join Speed-Fit gyms, by showing them how a great body scores with the ladies. Idea: The Body Switch Experiment - the first sixpack test drive. In typical flirt locations we set up a booth filled with cameras, microphones and broadcasting technology. From this booth test subjects could digitally 'transplant' their heads onto the body of a perfectly trained model and chat-up women in real-life flirt situations. This way we created an entertaining brand experience for everyone involved.

The Body Switch Experiment was an entertaining promo stunt that gave individuals a branded live experience in three typical flirt locations: a laundromat, a pool and a nightclub. There we set up our branded video booth. Participants were attracted by the set up itself and a Speed-Fit promotion team.

Our experiment was the center of attention in Berlin's flirt locations. Our test subjects experienced that a super body makes you super confident and Speed-Fit generated lots of trail-trainings. (+17% applications in the first quarter compared to 2013)
