Brief Explanation
We all have two sides to our personality and, in daily life, we constantly play one against the other. One side wants to write tomorrow’s presentation while the other wants to set a new a high score on Candy Crush. One side wants to catch up on current affairs, but the other would rather watch cat videos on YouTube.
A series of three online films feature ‘remarkably similar characters’ with quite contrary personalities, demonstrating that any need, any demand, and any desire can be met by the incredible versatility of the range of Intel powered Sony VAIO® 2-in-1 devices.
Creative Execution
Due to the performance nature of this piece and the budget limitations, we wanted to create a set that was striking and powerful without creating distraction from the performance or too much of a burden on the budget. The restrictions of the production became in many ways an inspiration rather than a hindrance. We took influence more from theatre than film and, through a process of reduction, brought the set down to what we felt were the minimal number story telling components, giving us a stark and surprising look somewhere between 2001 and Dogville. The set was, astonishingly, built in one very long day.
