Creative Execution
For Heineken cities we were presented with a 6 min Elvis track and asked to make it fit to a 2min/90/60/30 sec edit.
The creative directors were very keen for the song to still have a start, middle and end, as well as having key musical moments for the bouncer and yoga sections. We also added extra keys to punctuate the club scene, adding a few chords in key with the track and in time with action.
The trick once the music edit had been achieved and approved was to get a mix sympathetic to the film with the all the spot effects and at atmos.
