Brief Explanation
Every element of the soundscape for this film was designed from the ground up. Initially, our team worked to cast voice talent for the featured characters in the film. This was followed by voice record sessions aimed at directing the cast to perform a slightly ‘off kilter’ read to match the apocalyptic narrative of the film.
With character voices in place, we set about sound designing a world for our characters to exist in. The brief looked to encompass the epic sound of a disaster movie trailer – big, bold and impactful!
With a fantastic score, we took the stems and mixed them to work perfectly with the sound design. This allowed us to create a mix that drives the film and gives it the scale and gravitas that the Stand Up To Cancer message rightly deserves.
