Brief Explanation
‘Inner Beauty’ celebrates the idea that beauty is about more than just what’s on the surface. Whilst appearance is important, what’s on the inside is often forgotten. Our sound design brief was focused on uncovering this inner beauty as we journeyed through a host of seemingly inanimate objects. For each object, we wanted the viewer to discover an exciting and often surprising sonic world within each object. Each ‘inner world’ was created to add warmth, beauty and character to our objects. To enhance the journey of the piece, various filtering and mixing techniques were utilised to ensure the viewer feels a sense of speed and propulsion as we dive into one object and fire ourselves out to the next. ‘Inner Beauty’ sees the viewer taken on a sonic journey like no other…Enjoy!
