Brief Explanation
We all have two sides to our personality and, in daily life, we constantly play one against the other. One side wants to write tomorrow’s presentation while the other wants to set a new a high score on Candy Crush. One side wants to catch up on current affairs, but the other would rather watch cat videos on YouTube.
A series of three online films feature ‘remarkably similar characters’ with quite contrary personalities, demonstrating that any need, any demand, and any desire can be met by the incredible versatility of the range of Intel powered Sony VAIO® 2-in-1 devices.
Creative Execution
These films rely almost 100% on performance. We naively believed that we would simply cast three sets of identical twins with excellent acting abilities. After the Casting Director stopped laughing at us, we realized that we needed a more technical solution rather than a miraculous one. After much head scratching a plan was hatched to record our actors playing either side of their ‘character’ against another ‘stand-in’ actor. The stand in the switched in post. Each actor would play each scene twice and our ‘stand in’ actor would have to mimic the timings and performance for each take. Easy right? The result was an absolutely mind-bending series of performances and a hellish task in post. But we believe we have achieved the impossible by creating convincing performances between two people who are in fact the same person. Never again!
