Brief Explanation

In this Unicef ad, Jesus, Gandhi and Mother Theresa meet a dude, who chose an easier way to save lives. But how do you portray a get-togheter between three of the worlds kindest people, Jesus, Mother Theresa and Ghandi. In an intimate dinner party between the three of them with one odd participant: Avarage Joe.

Creative Execution

We had to be visually on target while casting, but at the same time give them all a personal twist so they didn’t end up standard characters (since the’ve all appeard in cameos throuout film history). So we gave Jesus an arrogant touch, Ghandi a naiv appearance, and made Mother Theresa a comforting woman in her best years welcoming our hero in this film with open arms: The avarage Joe. A clueless, yet lovable guy with a broken english. There had to be a good group dynamic where they all complemented each other in a casual conversation. Our working reference was the chatty dinner scene from Goodfellas.
