Nike "The Last Game' is a 5min TV, cinema and online animated commercial produced for the 2014 World Cup.
It was broadcast on television in over 20 countries during the official opening ceremony. It has currently achieved over 70million views online and an incredible 200 million plus shares across all social media platforms!
One of the key audio tasks was to design the sound for each individual environment. This included the processing of the vocal tracks to place each character in their scenes. Another important element was the creation of the atmosphere beds to make the animation come alive. This was done through combination of SFX and bespoke field recordings we carried out for the project.
Next I tackled the sound design pieces, spot effects & Foley. We worked very closely with the animation team, feeding them sound design and processed dialogues as we went along, to help them develop their incredible visual world.
Finally, using the splits, we crafted a total sound mix sympathetic to all the music and sound elements involved.
From start to finish project took 3 months with the last 6 weeks of this being the only job being worked on in the studio.
