Brief Explanation

Icons’ pays homage to famous cultural references from classic to contemporary, shown together in one seamless continuous take. The film featured a respectful nod to old favourites and to what was making the headlines in 2014. Including Rodin, Forrest Gump, Madmen, Michelangelo, Reservoir Dogs and Daft Punk. Together demonstrating how culture is timeless and how The Sunday Times will help you find your new favourite things.

The track provided was specially commissioned for the TV ad and was composed by artist Tom Player, a specific license agreement was then agreed.
